Operation: FIREBRAND was the very first operation undertook by the SPARTAN-III personnel of Alpha Company in October of 2536, in which the United Nations Space Command deployed them to suppress an anti-UEG coup d'etat on the human colony world of Mamore.[2] After an unspecified amount of time, the UNSC emerged victorious, reseizing control of the world.[3]

One page later, it asserts Alpha Company first deployed instead in 2536. Because the year 2536 lines up with the dates orignally presented in Halo: Ghosts of Onyx, this article assumes the initially listed year was an error yet retains the date of October 16th.
