Human-Covenant war

Over the course of the Human-Covenant war, Beweglichkeitsrüstungsysteme, a corporation based in Essen, was responsible for developing multiple variants of MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor, including the CQB, CQC, and JFO-class variants.
Post-Covenant war
Following the end of the decades-long conflict, Beweglichkeitsrüstungsysteme continued its work, creating Technician[3] and Freebooter variants of the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor and the Rampart VISR, for the GEN2 platform.
As well, Dr. William Iqbal and his colleagues of the University of Edinburgh were hired by ONI to study Forerunner relics discovered on various worlds including Earth and the Ancient Human ruins of Heian.[4]
