Lumumba was a district[citation needed] of the port city of New Mombasa, Kenya in Africa on Earth and is a part of the metropolitan area. It was located within Sector 6 of the city.[citation needed]
During the Battle of Mombasa, Edward Buck's pod landed in this part of the city.[1]
Trivia
- A street called "Lumumba Road" exists in modern-day Mombasa, although in a different location than this area. It is likely named after Congolese prime minister Patrice Lumumba.
