The AN/SEQ-11 point-defense laser array is a classification of capital ship laser-based directed energy weaponry developed and employed by the UNSC Navy. The weapon is employed as the tertiary armament of the Anlace-class light frigate with eight such weapons present on the ship - fulfilling the role of point-defense gun more traditionally filled by electromagnetic coilguns.[1]
