Forza Horizon is a series of motorsport racing video games developed by Playground Games and published by Xbox Game Studios. Several entries in the series have had crossovers with the Halo series, typically involving a playable Warthog of some variety, all of which are listed on this page. The series has notably involved the creation of Halo canon's M12S Warthog CST, which has featured in several Forza games as a drivable vehicle.[1]

Several entries from the regular Forza Motorsport series have also had crossovers with Halo, which can be seen on this page.

In Forza Horizon, a Halo UNSC-themed livery is available for the 2011 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor.[2] The crossover was done to celebrate the November 6, 2012 launch of Halo 4 and was designed by 343 Industries, and could be acquired by purchasing the December IGN Car Pack DLC included in the game's Season Pass or purchasable in the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 400 Microsoft Points.[3]

As part of this crossover, 343 Industries hosted the "Halo 4 Infinity Challenge"; a multiplayer challenge event with a grand prize including a UNSC-themed 2013 Ford SVT Raptor.[4][5] An overview of the prize Raptor can be found here.

In 2015, another real-world recreation of this livery was done as part of the marketing for Halo 5: Guardians and canonised as the M552 Sandcat.

Forza Horizon 3[edit]

Forza Horizon 3 featured a crossover with Halo in the form of the M12S Warthog CST: a racing variant of Halo's Warthog that is fully-canon in the Halo franchise and builds off the Autovista Warthog featured in Forza Motorsport 4. To unlock the M12S in Forza Horizon 3, players had to play either Halo: The Master Chief Collection or Halo 5: Guardians on Xbox One, with the codes sent out between September 6-23, 2016. Players who did not play an Xbox One Halo game later had the chance to earn the Warthog via special #Forzathon events that were added to Forza Horizon 3 in October 2016 (The Halo Weekender),[6] February 2017 (Who Wants Seconds?),[7] January 2018 (Hot and Heavy Horizon),[8] and March 2018 (Play in the Mud), or through the in-game Auction House.[9]
