Sea of Thieves is a first-person multiplayer pirate game developed by Rare and published by Xbox Game Studios. Over the years the game has had several Halo crossovers in the form of cosmetic items and useable equipment.
Spartan Ship Set[edit]
The Spartan Ship Set was the first Halo and Sea of Thieves collaboration, done to celebrate E3 2019 and Halo Infinite's first full reveal. When initially released, the pack was a timed exclusive only available to attendees of the event and players who logged in between June 10-15th, 2019.[1] They have since been sporadically made available as rewards for playing during other similar events such as Gamescom,[2] or as Twitch Drops during Infinite's 2020 campaign reveal.[3]
For Halo Infinite's launch in November 2021, Rare released the "Noble Spartan Sails", a new set of Halo-themed sails for ships in the game bearing the skull of a Sangheili and crossed cutlasses, intended to bear resemblance to the Heroic and Legendary symbols in Halo.[4] This release coincided with a re-release of the original Spartan Ship Set.[5]
For patch 2.10.2 in March 2024, the Spartan Ship Set (including the Noble Spartan Sails) were made permanently available for purchase in the Pirate Emporium (Sea of Thieves' in-game shop).[6]
