Fortnite is a multiplayer third-person looter shooter survival game developed and released by Epic Games on July 21, 2017, with the more famous Battle Royale mode releasing on September 26 of that year. The game has had two official crossovers with the Halo franchise in the form of multiple unique cosmetics the player can use in the battle royale portion of the Fortnite platform. Notably, John-117 was introduced to players in 2020, featuring his Halo Infinite-era Mark VI GEN3 armor, while a female incarnation of a Spartan-IV featuring the Cavallino helmet was made available in 2025 through Chapter 6: Season 4's Battle Pass.
Shop items[edit]
The Master Chief Bundle was first made available to players in December of 2020. All items within it could initially be purchased for
2,600, or purchased separately for various amounts. The bundle would receive discounts over time. The Master Chief skin featured one style dubbed "Matte Black". It could be earned by playing Fortnite on an Xbox Series X/S console at any point.

Battle Pass items[edit]
The Chapter 6: Season 4 Battle Pass would feature another Halo-themed crossover in the form of the UNSC Spartan: a stylized, female variant of a default Mark VII-clad Spartan-IV within Halo Infinite. This character featured two styles, and two head effects, referencing the Legendary and Eternal armor effects of the franchise's past. Additionally, various Halo-themed weapon skins, emotes, loading screens, and general unlocks were present within the Battle Pass' first two pages.
