The AIE-207H heavy machine gun[Note 1] is a tri-barrelled rotary machine gun used by the United Nations Space Command.

Design details[edit]
Its design is similar to that of the AIE-486H machine gun. However, unlike the AIE-486H, the AIE-207H is designed for use mounted onto an M12 Warthog. The shield protecting the gunner from frontal fire is squared. It is sometimes fitted with a seat for the vehicle's gunner to sit in.[1]
Usage[edit]
The AIE-207H would be prominently used during the Battle of Eridanus II. Marines, Captain Jacob Keyes, and SPARTAN-II Riz-028.[2]
One would also be used by a Marine during the Fall of Reach.[3]
Production notes[edit]
During the production of Halo: The Television Series, the weapon was simply referred to as the Vulcan, or M46 Vulcan.[1][4] It was given an updated look in Season Two of the TV show, with additional decals that instead clarify it as a distinct weapon.
