The actuator plug that drives the weapon functions is considered semi-intelligent, obeying its directives with absolute precision.[1][2] Shuku-pattern turrets are usually placed alongside A'uo'i-pattern sensor emplacement for target acquisition.[1]
Usage[edit]
Shuku-pattern turrets were once employed by the Covenant to guard important outposts. Following the end of the Human-Covenant War and fall of the Covenant, many turrets remain active at their sectors, ready to engage trespassers that do not transmit the corresponding authorization codes, now impossible to acquire with the fall of High Charity.[1]
Operational history[edit]
Shuku-pattern turrets were deployed in a perimeter surrounding a Covenant outpost on Strilun IV.[3][1]
