Rosenda-A344 is a SPARTAN-III supersoldier, trained as a member of Alpha Company.[1]

Biography

Rosenda was a member of NOBLE Team's earliest roster. She was part of Operations DIRE MORNING, FANCY DRESS, and OFFSET EYE[2] on Concord.[3] She was then transferred to other clandestine operations.[2]

She fell under the operational authority of Unified Special Warfare Command as of 2552. Colonel Urban Holland, the commanding officer of Spartan NOBLE Team, considered replacing Emile-A239 with Rosenda should a counterinsurgency operation have arisen, due to the former's extreme aggression toward insurgents.[4][5]

Production notes

Rosenda was originally intended to play a larger role in Halo: Reach as a member of Noble Team. However, she was cut from the game and is only mentioned in the Noble Team performance reports. She was noted as having a sassy personality.[4] "Rosenda" is one of the name options for customized loadouts in Halo: Reach, along with the names of the members of Noble Team and several Spartan-IIs.[6]

Rosenda's Spartan tag was first associated with the tag number 344 in Halo 3: ODST's license plate Easter eggs: "KNS 344R" was long assumed to stand for "Rosenda-344, Noble Seven". Catalog confirmed her tag several years later in addition to identifying her as a member of Alpha Company.[1]
