Battle for Alluvion

The Battle of Alluvion was an engagement between UNSC and Covenant forces on the planet Alluvion around 2543 that resulted in the glassing of the planet.[1]
The battle
In late 2542 or early 2543, the colony was attacked by the Covenant during the Human-Covenant War. Spartan Gabriel Thorne's parents were UNSC Army officers stationed on the planet at the time. They, along with Alluvion's human population, died when the Covenant glassed the planet.[1]
