Design

Gravemakers were manufactured by the Sovo-lot-kesh Armory and developed by the Qavardu workshop.[1] Gravemaker are rugged, nest-shaped gun platforms that are capable of carrying groups of individuals for surface deployment. They consist of a main body and arms. Gravemakers are crudely fused together flying craft that are plated over with heavy armor shielding. Downward-facing engines lift them into the air in sputtering and roaring bursts, which can sometimes be a struggle due to the ships' weight. They are equipped with heavy-grade spike autocannons that provide substantial firepower.[2]

Operational history

Deployed as the Jiralhanae equivalent of the M312 Elephants, Gravemakers were rarely used by the Jiralhanae prior to end of the Human-Covenant War. Gravemakers continued to be used in the Post-Covenant War conflicts by the Banished and various pirates and mercanaries. Notably Hekabe's clan made us of them during the Carrow Conflict in September 2558.
