The Halo Online soundtrack is the collection of music composed for the cancelled multiplayer first-person shooter Halo Online. The soundtrack was composed by Tom Salta,[1] as well as the audio studio Finishing Move Inc., led by composers Brian Trifon and Brian Lee White.[2]

Overview[edit]

Production[edit]

Tom Salta's tracks for Halo Online were created prior to the game, composed during the production of Halo: Spartan Assault and Halo: Spartan Strike before going unused.[3]

Release[edit]

Since the game was cancelled, the soundtrack has never officially released, and the music that exists is only viewable via files extracted from the game's testing builds.

A version of one track, tentively titled "An Ode to the Abyss", was used for the Halo 2: Anniversary cinematic trailer on July 25, 2014.[4]

Track listing[edit]

Due to the lack of official release, the tracks are ordered below in alphabetical order; names are derived from in-game filenames.
