Michael Salvatori is an American producer and composer of music. He has worked closely with Martin O'Donnell, Stan LePard, and C. Paul Johnson to produce the music of the Halo series.
Salvatori went on to compose music for the Destiny series after his work on Halo, taking over as Bungie's primary in-house composer after O'Donnell was fired in 2014. In October 2023, Salvatori left Bungie in a round of layoffs at the studio. While Salvatori has never directly confirmed if he was laid off, his website was updated to read "Gone fishin' : )"[1]
