C Paul Johnson[Note 1] was a sound designer and musician at Bungie. He was made a full time Bungie staff member in September of 2004. Starting with Halo 3, C Paul acted as a composer in addition to sound design. He also wrote music for Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach.
C Paul is a sound synthesis major from the Berkley School of Music in Boston.

- He won the 2005 Game Developer's Choice Award for Best Audio along with the Bungie sound team: Marty O'Donnell, Jay Weinland, and himself.
- He was originally an intern under Martin O'Donnell.
- During initial Halo 2 production involvements, C Paul produced sound effects and music with Propellerhead Reason.
- C Paul, along with Michael Salvatori and Martin O'Donnell, won the Game Award for Best Original Soundtrack in 2014 for their score to Destiny.
- C Paul, along with Skye Lewin and Michael Salvatori, won the ASCAP Composer's Choice Award for their score for Destiny: Rise of Iron.
