Blademaster's yard

The blademaster's yard is a location aboard spacecraft used by the Covenant and its remnants, particularly those crewed by Sangheili. They are used by the Sangheili for training in martial arts and swordsmanship.[1]
The research vessel Triumph of Tolerance hosted a blademaster's yard, consisting of a serene environment decorated in the white-gold of the Sacristan Order, lush foliage, and sand for scuffling warriors to fight on. The room was large and had numerous observation platforms, training dummies, weapons stands, and was large enough for a Ghost to be driven inside.[2]
In the post-war era a blademaster's yard was installed aboard the Kerel-pattern assault carrier Shadow of Intent with Thel 'Vadam's permission. This yard combines ancient Sangheili martial tradition and War Games technology shared from the United Nations Space Command.[1] The yard consists of a dome similar to the habitat domes of support ships, with a small garden in the centre and War Games platforms surrounding it that can raise or lower to provide unique training environments.[3]
