The Halo Infinite Multiplayer Tech Preview was a phase in the development of Halo Infinite, produced by 343 Industries and organized by Microsoft. Signing in the Halo Insider Program gave players access to the Tech Preview[1], which will be made available on July 29, 2021 and it will end on August 1, 2021. A live stream of the Tech Preview will be shown on July 28, 2021.[2]
The focus of this technical preview are the 4v4 (players versus bots) multiplayer matches, Academy's Weapon Drills, and UI testings on Infinite's Battle Pass, Challenges, Menu, and Spartan Customization. Concurrent with this tech preview, a new version of Halo Waypoint will be tested.[1]

During the Halo Infinite Tech Preview, the player could unlock armor permutations for their Spartan. The tech preview will grant players a set amount of in-game credits (cR). Players will be free to use their cR how they see fit, but customization items unlocked during technical previews will not carry over when Halo Infinite is released.[1]
