After John-117 took out his emotional regulator in 2552, he would leave WHITE TOWER to experience the city.[4] Later while Makee was in UNSC custody, he would take her into the city as well.[1]
In 2553,[5] the Covenant would attack Reach, sending in ground forces into Reach City itself. Although UNSC forces would fight back against them, they would be forced to retreat to WHITE TOWER.[6] The city would eventually be glassed.[5]
