Battle of Madrigal was a Covenant attack on the Outer Colony Madrigal in search of a Forerunner artifact. UNSC activities there were part of Operation: DEFIANT GLASS.^[1]

Battle

The Covenant would attack the planet and specifically focused on Jin Ha's outpost, primarily with Sangheili. Silver Team would deploy mid-battle via D80 Condor. Although, the insurrectionists were initially hostile to the Spartans, the two groups would collaborate in fighting the Covenant.^[2]

Aftermath

Following Silver Team's saving of Kwan Ha during the battle, Miranda Keyes would attempt to convince Kwan Ha to send a message to the other Outer Colonies. This message was intent on creating a sense of unity among the colonies and the UNSC in the face of the Covenant. Kwan refused and threatened to lie in the message instead, with her condition of helping the UNSC being the independence of Madrigal.^[2]
