Quiet Faith is an intrusion corvette formerly of the Covenant, later stolen and aligned with the mutineer Flotilla of Unsung Piety. During the Flotilla's mission to Netherop in summer 2526, Quiet Faith was the flag element for Fleetmaster Nizat 'Kvarosee.[6]

Service history[edit]

Quiet Faith was one of the several stealth ships of the Flotilla of Unsung Piety, and was co-opted by Fleetmaster Nizat 'Kvarosee following his "reassignment" by the Hierarchs in mid-2526 - with shipmaster Qoo 'Weyodosee given command of the vessel. On June 7 of that year, the ship (alongside the rest of the flotilla) engaged in the Battle of Netherop. Early in the mission, Nizat used the vessel as his flag element, and directed the lauching of the Guarding Spear once Divine Whisper reported the presence of a D75-TC Pelican.[6]

Later in the battle, the Covenant's Fleet of Swift Justice emerged over Netherop to hunt down the flotilla. Realising that the flotilla was trapped between the UNSC's Task Force Pantea and the new Covenant force, Fleetmaster 'Kvarosee planned a maneuver for the fleet led by Quiet Faith which would see the corvettes burn toward Netherop. This action would break their stealth, but intentionally so, goading the UNSC fleet to hunt them down - only to be run into the superior Covenant force on the far side of the planet. Meanwhile, Quiet Faith would dip into a low orbit as to deploy two drop pods containing the fleetmaster and Tam 'Lakosee.[1]

The ship was one of two in the fleet that managed to escape the fighting between the flotilla, the Covenant's Fleet of Swift Justice and the UNSC's Task Force Pantea, alongside Silent Truth. For 'Kvarosee, this was a relief, as Quiet Faith had been the ship housing the receiver units for the Luminal Beacons he had stolen to commence his mission on Netherop. Nizat did not expect Shipmaster 'Weyodosee to continue the mission with only two corvettes remaining, but hoped nonetheless that he would go on to rebuild the flotilla's strength and return to finish the job.[7] Nizat and his followers were still stranded on Netherop by 2559 indicating that this had not happened.
