The Sanghelios Mapping Project aims to cross-reference material from games and written material in an attempt to detail Sanghelios' planetary pages. As this will involve detailed examinations of all of this material, it will likely spoil details from those pieces of media.

Current research[edit]
Several sources have begun to paint a clearer and clearer picture of the Elite's homeworld. As such, we can begin to cross reference this information to form a more cohesive look at the planet.

To begin with, here is a world map of Sanghelios, used as a texture in Halo 5: Guardians
This appears to have formed the basis of current orbital views of the planet as it aligns with this art seen in Halo: Warfleet – An Illustrated Guide to the Spacecraft of Halo and the 2022 edition of the Halo Encyclopedia.

- Canon Fodder confirms that Nuusra is on the west coast of the continent Qivro.[1]
- Halo Waypoint's universe section confirms that Sunaion would have given Jul's Covenant quick access to the coasts of Yermo, Vadam Harbor and thus the Kolaar Mountains.[2]

Up until and around the release of Halo 5: Guardians, Sanghelios was depicted quite consistently in art. However, this original depiction does not align with current depictions of the planet anymore.

Theorycrafting[edit]
- As Vadam are known to have a burial sites in Nuusra despite being located on Yermo, it appears that Vadam were either at one point a cross continent power or migrated across continents. This is heightened by the relative apparent closeness of Yermo and Vadam to Sunaion/Nuusra/Qivro.
