The Battle Rifle is a weapon featured in Halo: Campaign Evolved. It is one of nine new weapons included in Campaign Evolved that were not present in the original Halo: Combat Evolved.
Universe and lore[edit]

In Campaign Evolved the Battle Rifle reuses the model of the BR75 battle rifle first featured in Halo Infinite. However, the weapon's decals have been updated to label the weapon as the more timeline-appropriate BR55 battle rifle.

The Battle Rifle is a new weapon in Halo: Campaign Evolved, included for use in the game's Operation: METEORITE prequel levels alongside the Campaign Remix mode. It performs similarly to the Battle Rifles of previous games, acting as a medium-ranged burst-fire headshot-capable utility weapon.[1]
