The Battle Rifle is a human utility weapon featured in Halo 5: Guardians.

In the campaign of Halo 5: Guardians, the Battle Rifle is the primary weapon for players playing as Locke on all missions involving Fireteam Osiris. Elsewhere, the Battle Rifle can also be found in the mission Blue Team, first appearing in the assembly bay inside the Argent Moon.

In the multiplayer component of Halo 5: Guardians, the Battle Rifle is the primary weapon for players participating in the SWAT game type.

Skins

The Battle Rifle features a myriad of skins that are unlockable and usable in the multiplayer component of Halo 5: Guardians. Most can be unlocked through the game's Requisition system, with REQ packs providing the bulk of the weapon's unlocks. Nearly every update from Battle of Shadow and Light to Overtime would add in more skins for the Battle Rifle.
