While ''Halo: Reach'', ''[[Halo 4]]'' and ''[[Halo 5: Guardians]]'' all featured gendered customization options, ''Halo Infinite'' would instead opt for three gender-independent body types representing various builds, with the player's voice being determined separate from the body type they picked. Armor cores hailing from Fractures and certain newer armor kits do not abide by this option, and feature only one base look for the player's bodily proportions.
