Aethra

Aethras are a kind of aircraft used by the forces of the Created, presumably-Forerunner in origin. They are used on the worlds occupied by the Created as overwatch survey craft to reinforce occupation armigers on the ground.[1][2]

Aethras are "sickle"-shaped craft.[2][3]
Operational history[edit]
Aethras were used during the Created uprising. They were part of the occupation of Sanghelios.[1][2] They were also used in the subjugation of Earth, being deployed to Mombasa[3] as well as the nearby Excession.[4] In one incident they would combat unknown forces in the vicinity of Liwitoni Station.[3]
Trivia[edit]
The aethra is likely named after Aethra of Greek mythology, one of Helen of Troy's handmaidens and the mother of Theseus.
