The Mark III [A1] Peacekeeper, also known as the Peacekeeper Cyclops, is a specialised variant of the Mark III exoskeleton, employed by law enforcement agencies.[2]

Overview

Design details==

Mark III [A1] units are usually equipped with a large riot shield and a low-pressure autocannon that can fire a variety of riot-control munitions.[2]

Variants

  • Sector 12 Police Cyclops: This variant is fielded by the New Mombasa Police Department and equips a heavy machine gun and a riot shield. It is used for riot suppression, close-quarters combat and operations behind enemy lines.[1]

Usage

The Mark III [A1] was popular with police SWAT teams on Earth,[2] with the New Mombasa Police Department utilizing some.[1] Most were destroyed after being pressed into active combat duty.[2]

Production notes

The Peacekeeper was first visualized by MEGA Brands Halo Toys as the "Sector 12 Police Cyclops". The vehicle was considered a separate entity to the Mark III described on Halo Waypoint until February 2020, when Jeff Easterling confirmed the connection.[3]
