(It's a Flood research facility so I don't think the nature of the aliens in the pods is really all that secret, but...)

Lockdown[1] is a multiplayer map in Halo 2 Anniversary. It is a remake of Lockout from Halo 2, with some minor changes. Lockout is one of the six Halo 2 multiplayer maps that have been completely re-imagined in Halo 2 Anniversary.[2][3]

Layout

Changes from Lockout

An extra piece of cover has been added to the "Elbow", the long walkway connecting the gravity lift to the sniper tower. Additionally, a "dynamic element" designed to combat entrenched groups of enemies has been added. This feature can be disabled via Forge to achieve an experience closer to the original game.[1]
