Halopedia:Projects lists wiki-wide projects that need to be done in order to improve the current state of the wiki. Some projects may require entirely new articles to be created, and some may just require some code to be added to certain parts of the wiki. The Manual of Style still matters here, so it is recommended that users become acquainted with those prior to working on a project. For past projects, see here.

List of active projects

Content-based

"Improvement Drive" project (commenced on 24 February 2014): This is the Article Improvement Drive, made to improve and create pages for Halopedia.
Soundtrack project (commenced on 15 April 2021): This project is set to rehaul the soundtrack pages so they are easier to follow, and so oddities are recorded.
Forge project (commenced October 2022): A project in collaboration with ForgeHub, to renew, improve and overhaul Forge-related content on the wiki.
Firewall project (commenced May 2023): A project intended to better-examine and document the Precipice Story Shards for Halo Infinite.

Wiki element-based

"Halopedia Improvement project" (commenced on 9 July 2017): This is a project created to improve Halopedia and make it a better place to use.
"Halopedia designers" project (commenced on 8 September 2017): This is a project created so users can submit logos, backgrounds and other similar stuff.
Interface Overhaul project (commenced on 18 May 2020): This project aims to overhaul how readers and editors interact with the wiki.
Wiki rehaul project (commenced "properly" on 8 August 2020): This project is to unify the separate wiki projects the staff is doing into 1 project.

Mapping projects

These are projects dedicated to mapping locations in the Halo Universe.

Reach Mapping project (commenced on 22 March 2020): This project aims to create a comprehensive map of Reach, based off the information available to us.
Mombasa Mapping project (commenced on 15 May 2021): This project aims to understand, place, and create a comprehensive database of the Mombasa area, based on available information.

Halo Language Project

Main article: Halopedia:Projects/Halo Language Project

This is the re-hauled "Halo Language Project". Dedicated to recording the process how various spoken, written, and alternative languages are understood in Halo to lower the weight of the main page language pages.

TV show Sangheili dialogue project - a project page for mapping and translating the Sangheili dialogue spoken in Halo: The Television Series.

List of completed projects

Timeline project (commenced February 19, 2019): This aims to properly categorize timeline entries.
"List of appearances" project (commenced on 28 September 2012): This is a Project meant to improve the "List of appearances" sections on pages. (This project has since been discontinued due to new organization ideas.)
