Plasma mines are cloaked explosive devices used by the Banished. These weapons may be scattered on the ground to deny territory to enemy infantry troops.[1]
Gameplay
Plasma mines are leader abilities that can be used by Atriox and "Colony" in Halo Wars 2. Let 'Volir has a similar ability referred to as a scout mine, but appears identical to the plasma mines.
- Plasma Mines I: Drops a cluster of Plasma Mines onto the battlefield.
- Plasma Mines II: Greater damage and area of effect.
Scout mine
Scout mines are a variant of plasma mine employed by Let 'Volir. They are almost identical to regular plasma mines, but are cloaked and thus cannot be seen by regular units.
- Scout Mine I: Drops a cloaked Plasma mine. Mine provides vision within a small area and explodes on contact.
- Population Cost: N/A
- Supply Cost: 25
- Power Cost: 100
- Cooldown: 105 seconds
- Scout Mine II: Increases mine damage and vision range.
- Population Cost: N/A
- Supply Cost: 50
- Power Cost: 200
- Cooldown: 105 seconds
