List of Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST medals

Medals are preset rewards or bonuses given in Halo 3's Multiplayer and Campaign modes, and Halo 3: ODST's Campaign and Firefight modes, when players perform some action, usually involving the killing of enemies or rival players. There are a total of 61 medals in Halo 3 and 34 medals in Halo 3: ODST.

Halo 3

General multiplayer medals

	Steaktacular	Play in a matchmade slayer game and win by at least 20 kills.
	Linktacular	Play in a matchmade game composed entirely of Bungie.net users, including yourself.
	Death from the Grave	Kill an opponent after you have died.
	Laser Kill	Kill an opponent by using the Spartan Laser.
	Grenade Stick	Kill an opponent by sticking him/her with either a Plasma Grenade or a Spike Grenade.
	Incineration	Kill an opponent by using either the Flamethrower or a Flame Grenade.

	Assassin	Hit and kill an opponent with a melee attack from behind.
	Beat Down	Hit and kill an opponent with a melee attack.
	Extermination	Wipe out an enemy team with at least an overkill.

	Killing Frenzy	Kill 10 enemies in a row without dying.
	Running Riot	Kill 15 enemies in a row without dying.

	Invincible	Kill 30 enemies in a row without dying.
Multi-kill Medals
	Double Kill	Kill 2 opponents within 4 seconds of each other.
	Triple Kill	Kill 3 opponents within 4 seconds of each other.
	Overkill	Kill 4 opponents within 4 seconds of each other.
	Killtacular	Kill 5 opponents within 4 seconds of each other.
	Killtrocity	Kill 6 opponents within 4 seconds of each other.
	Killimanjaro	Kill 7 opponents within 4 seconds of each other.

	Sniper Kill	Kill an opponent with a headshot by using either the Sniper Rifle or the Particle Beam Rifle.
	Sniper Spree	Kill 5 opponents in a row with the Sniper Rifle and/or Particle Beam Rifle without dying.
	Sharpshooter	Kill 10 opponents in a row with the Sniper Rifle and/or Particle Beam Rifle without dying.
Shotgun Medals
	Shotgun Spree	Gun down 5 opponents in a row without dying.
	Open Season	Gun down 10 opponents in a row without dying.
Sword Medals
	Sword Spree	Cut down 5 opponents in a row without dying.
	Slice 'N Dice	Cut down 10 opponents in a row without dying.
Vehicle Medals
	Splatter	Hit and kill an opponent with a vehicle.
	Splatter Spree	Splatter 5 opponents in a row without dying.
	Vehicular Manslaughter	Splatter 10 opponents in a row without dying.
	Wheelman	Be the driver of a vehicle when a passenger kills an opponent.
	Highjacker	Seize control of an enemy ground vehicle.
	Skyjacker	Seize control of an enemy aircraft.
	Killed Vehicle	Destroy an enemy vehicle (Not in final game).

King of the Hill
	Hail to the King	Kill 5 consecutive opponents in a single life from inside the hill before it moves.
Oddball
	Oddball Kill	Get a melee kill when holding the ball.
Slayer
	Perfection	Win a slayer game with 15+ kills without dying.
Juggernaut
	Killed Juggernaut	Kill the Juggernaut.
	Juggernaut Spree	Kill 5 consecutive opponents in a single run as the Juggernaut.
	Unstoppable	Kill 10 consecutive opponents in a single run as the Juggernaut.
Infection
	Last Man Standing	Be the last player uninfected at the end the game. Awarded at the end of the round/game.
	Infection Spree	Infect 5 players in a single life as a zombie.
	Mmmm... Brains	Infect 10 players in a single life as a zombie.
	Zombie Killing Spree	Kill 5 zombies without dying.
	Hell's Janitor	Kill 10 zombies without dying.

Style Medals
	Beat Down	Hit and kill an opponent with a melee attack.

	Grenade Stick	Kill an opponent by sticking them with a plasma or a stick grenade.

	Needler Kill	Score a kill by shooting an opponent with enough needles to cause a detonation.

	Assist	Assist a teammate in killing the enemy.
	Hero	Complete the wave as the last man standing.

Halo 3 campaign medals

	Headshot	Fatally headshot an enemy.
	Multi Kill	Score three or more kills within 1.5 seconds.
	Super Detonation	Load an enemy with at least 7 Needler rounds, causing them to explode.
	EMP	Drain an enemy's shields with the Plasma Pistol, Power Drain, or a Plasma Grenade, and then kill them.
	Splatter	Ram and kill an enemy with a vehicle.
	Assassin	Kill an enemy with a melee attack from behind.
