Jengo Farouk is a SPARTAN-IV supersoldier serving in the United Nations Space Command.[1] As of late 2559, he was active on Earth around the site of the Excession and New Mombasa, likely making him a part of Joint Task Force MARIAH.
Biography[edit]
In November 2559, Spartan Farouk was deployed to the city of Mombasa on Earth for a mission to help the Peoples' Resistance of Mombasa rise up against the Created. Farouk was tasked with carrying a recording of the destruction of Doisac by the Created (and recorded by the Children of Oth Sonin) to Earth to spread on public Waypoint networks, defying Created censorship. Farouk initially deployed to the residence of Safina Nyakundi to deliver her the recording, having arranged the meeting through a series of obfuscated messages via the Mombasa resistance's intelligence network, and tasked her with taking the recording to the New Mombasa Police Department station on Kenya Street in the New Mombasa city centre, where she would meet a contact who would be able to distribute it en masse. While Nyakundi transferred the recording, Farouk would cause a distraction for Created forces in the city.[1]
The nature of Farouk's distraction is unknown, though he did recruit any of the Mombasa resistance's available fighters to help him. As Safina approached Liwitoni Station, gunfire between Farouk and the militia, and the Created armigers patrolling the streets, broke out and allowed Safina to deliver her cargo as arranged.[1]
Equipment[edit]
During his November 2559 mission to New Mombasa, Farouk wore a suit of MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor, with a helmet described as a "jagged v-shape".[1] This helmet, and suit as a whole, are presumably a suite of GEN3 VENATOR-class Mjolnir.[Note 1]
