Safina Nyakundi was a civilian living in New Mombasa, Earth. Dissatisfied with the Created's rule over New Mombasa, Safina joined the Peoples' Resistance of Mombasa, a group of rebels cooperating with the UNSC to destabilize the Created's control over the city. After helping Mercury to transmit Doisac's destruction on Waypoint Radio, she was captured and composed by the Created for her disobedience.[1]
