The Killing Spree Medal is awarded for killing 5 opponents in a row without dying. It is available in all Multiplayer gametypes and has a Bungie difficulty rating of 6 out of 10.[1] This is represented by a steel 4-sided star with a blue target in the middle. When someone gets this medal the announcer will shout "Killing Spree!" to the player that received this medal. In Halo: Combat Evolved, because there are no medals, if a player kills five opponents in a row without dying, they will still hear the announcer, but instead see "Killing Spree!" in the upper left of the screen.

Trivia

  • It has been proven that the highest spree possible is 255 kills. Even if you get more kills after that number, without dying, it will still say that your highest spree was 255 kills. This is most likely because 255 is the maximum value representable by an eight-digit binary number, and therefore the maximum representable by an unsigned 8-bit byte. [2]
