Avenger is a new multiplayer medal in Halo: Reach. Based on gameplay footage, it seems to be awarded when a player kills an opponent moments after that opponent has killed a teammate on the players team.[1] Because this is a team based medal, it may only be attainable in team-based multiplayer games or Firefight Versus.
