*Make sure that everyone doing the achievement is sure that they won't log out of the game midway because there's nothing more annoying than having to restart the level after someone's connection disconnected when you were almost at the end.
*The only way to get Ghosts in the mission is to play on Legendary Co-op from Mission Start until the end. They will not show up if the level is started from Rally Point Alpha or if played on a Solo Campaign. There are four Ghosts directly under the ramp to the left as you exit the control room.

*Start the level by going to the left side of the tower. There is a small raised snow bank. Have one player stand there and a second jump on his head. Then the bottom player jumps and in mid air the top one jumps and the bottom jumps again and when they touch the top player must jump again to reach the ledge. The other 3 players stay at the bottom of the tower  The player on the ledge must then take a right and [[Grenade Jump]] to the diagonal ledge that leads up the tower. Walk to the top all the way and look to the left to see a diagonal beam faceted to the wall leading upwards toward the snow where [[Avery Johnson]] is; jump on it then walk and jump to him and wait as he kills all the [[Flood]]. Jump down and when you walk through the door all the other players will be teleported there. Kill [[343 Guilty Spark]] as normal and then head out back to where you were and take a left and down the ramp you will find the [[Ghosts]]. 0 Gamerscore icon taken from Xbox.com. Originally a single block colour (with the two circles both being white and the 'G' a transparent cutout), but modified by myself to display nicely on dark *and* light themes, and to be reminiscent of the pre-Xbox One gamerscore icon.

Vidmaster Challenge: Annual is a Halo 3 XBL-exclusive achievement where the player has to complete the level Halo on four-player Legendary Co-Op with the Iron Skull activated, and everyone in Ghosts.[1] The achievement is named "Annual" because it was only possible to unlock it after September 25, 2008, one year after Halo 3 was released (give or take a day, depending on local time zone).

It is represented by the Iron Skull surrounded by four stars on a green Marathon symbol.

Following the shutdown of Xbox 360 Halo online services on January 13, 2022, the original Halo 3 achievement is no longer attainable.[2][3]
