This is primarily based on the Wookieepedia version. Investigate this also from Runescape.wiki. Fallout Wiki Survival guide, Fallout Wiki Editing 101, and Fallout Wiki University. And something for us to look into from a Discord side of things. Fallout University.

Welcome to the Halopedia Community

Main article: Halopedia:Community

Hello and welcome to Halopedia, a fansite dedicated to the Halo franchise and its fictional universe! Halopedia is primarily a wiki with a mission to document every aspect of the Halo series from its fiction, gameplay, marketing, and many many other areas. However, Halopedia is also home to a community of like-minded fans, dedicated to building the wiki and making it the best it can be. To that end, the site has many social features available, such as talk pages, our social media accounts and our Discord server. Be sure to join and support us any way you want to!

We are currently working on 16,055 articles created since November 4, 2004, and currently have 69 users editing the wiki. Halopedia relies on its editors and you can Join In to gain an expanded set of features and customization that also will expand your experience on the wiki. The more people we have have who help out and edit, the closer we can get to completing our mission. If you are worried about qualifications, just know that we all started off as beginners, the vast majority of Halopedians started with little to no writing or coding experience, and have learned everything they know from this community, other wikis, and the communities around us. So what are you waiting for! Sign Up and start editing!

How to get started

Create a free Halopedia account and verify your email.
Read the various Rules and Policies.
Join our discord server to join our community there and start asking questions.
Play around with your User:<insert name here> account, where you can add various things to it. (See here for more information on what you can do on your account.
Read the tutorial for first-time editors and a quick refresh if you need it.
Experiment with editing on the Sandbox page or create your own Sandbox page under your personal sandbox under the title "User:<insert name here>/Sandbox".
Find articles that need improvements, you can find this Here.

Links on where to get started. Create a page on Key Wiki terms used on Halopedia, this will be based on [this Bulbapedia] page.

Editing Tutorials

This will be where the new starter tutorials are. Plus KEY Help pages such as Help:References

Make this page more obvious as it will become the primary way we create pages going forward for new editors. Help:Create a page
