Sharpshooter

Sharpshooter' is a spree medal awarded in Halo 3 Multiplayer for killing (headshots don't have to count) 10 opponents in a row with the Sniper Rifle or Beam Rifle without dying. It is represented by a bronze five-pointed star with green crosshairs (much like the Battle Rifle crosshair when aimed at an enemies head). This is easier to get with the Sniper Rifle due to the more rapid rate of fire, more ammo capacity and more appearances throughout the many Halo maps. It is harder with the Beam Rifle due to slow fire rate and constant replacement. Melees with the Sniper Rifle or Beam Rifle are not allowed to gain this medal. One of the best tactics for getting this medal is in wide open maps i.e. (Sandtrap, Last Resort and Construct). Also, friendly kills do not count either, it will count as a "Betrayal".
