The Hardlight blade is a close-quarters combat (CQC) melee weapon used by the Promethean Knights. The weapon acts in a similar manner to an Energy Sword in that it can strip away energy shields with one swipe. However, it cannot be used by anyone else other than a Knight, as it disintegrates upon the Promethean Knight's death.

Because of the power of the hardlight blade, Promethean Knights are extremely dangerous in melee combat. Their forearm blade gives them an impressive reach, so it is a bad idea for players to stay too close in combat. ^[1]
