Raiders are typically encountered in pairs. They are significantly more durable than the lower-ranking [[Kig-Yar Freebooter|Freebooters]] and their arm shields can withstand multiple melee hits. As with the Freebooters, the [[Grappleshot]] can still be used to stagger Raiders and expose them. Also like the Freeboters, Raiders tend to flee when their shields are disabled.

Although typically armed with Type-54 plasma pistols, Raiders can also wield Disruptors and Manglers.[1]

History
