This article is about the Halo 5: Guardians Forge canvas. For the Halo Wars Skirmish level, see Barrens (Halo Wars map).

Barrens is a Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer map intended for use as a Forge canvas. The map was released as part of the Monitor's Bounty content update on December 8, 2016.^[1]

As with most of the other Forge maps, Barrens has three different skybox themes available: 'Dust Storm', 'Sunrise', and 'Twilight'.^[2]
