Post-war[edit]

Main article: Battle for Zeta Halo

During the Battle for Zeta Halo, at least three D80 Condors were used against the Banished, and ended up crashing in the region south of the Silent Auditorium, where a trio of Kywasky Workshop Gorespike cannons were deployed. After a pair of Gorespikes shot down the Pelican Echo 216 forcing it to land in the area. Echo 216's pilot Fernando Esparza spotted the wrecks of the three Condors and sought to flee Installation 07 by searching the Condors with the hope of finding one with a working slipspace drive. Once John-117 cleared the area by destroying the three local Gorespike cannons and killing Hyperius and Tovarus, it is revealed that Esparza was unable to find any of the Condors intact, instead discovering that they had been completely torn apart and gutted along with their slipspace drives.[2]

The D80 "SuperCondor"[4] is a type of aerospace craft used by the UNSC during humanity's war with the Covenant. Condor 325 was a UNSC Navy Naval Special Warfare Condor used by Silver Team.[5] and Condor 472 was used during the Battle of Eridanus II.[6] The D80-LRT "SuperCondor" is also armed with at least a nose-mounted chaingun.[5][7] At least parts of the "SuperCondor" were manufactured by Misriah Armory.[5]

Production notes[edit]

Appearances in Halo: The Television Series[edit]

In Halo: The Television Series, the D80-LRT "SuperCondor",[4] which is considered a larger form of the standard Condor, was used in the live-active series, instead of the normal D80 Condor design introduced in Halo Infinite.[4] Although the "SuperCondor" was seemingly based partially on the standard D80 Condor frame, including its cargo-bay (albeit slightly longer) and feature a slipspace drive, it bears additionally many similarities to the D81 Condor; it features an extra level, which what appears to be an additional bay on the tail boom, and as well as eight maneuvering thrusters identical to the D79H Pelican, similar to D81-LRT's so-called "Mission Package".[4]
