Pylons is the sixth track on Volume 2 of the Halo 4: Original Soundtrack.

- In Shutdown, a small section plays after John-117 disables the carrier wave generator in the first tower.
- In Episode 1, Chapter 5 of Spartan Ops, at the end of the level when Fireteam Crimson is ordered to defend the artifact from Promethean forces.
- In Episode 2, Chapter 5 of Spartan Ops, when Fireteam Crimson is ordered to shut down four power sources of a large Forerunner artifact that Science Team Gagarin activated.
- In Spartan Ops episode Catherine, as Halsey discovers the artifact is interacting with Infinity's engines.
- In Episode 4, Chapter 4 of Spartan Ops, at the end of the level.
- In Episode 5, Chapter 2 of Spartan Ops, at the end of the level as Fireteam Crimson destroys the device.
