The Parabola-class is a human freighter classification used for shipping.[1][3][2]

Design details[edit]
They are relatively simple craft, with large storage bays and rotating sections. The rotating sections contained water tanks that would automatically irrigate crops grown in the hydroponics bay in the middle carousel section of the vessel. They could carry enough food and water to supply a small city and featured special lockers that could hold luxury items.[1][3] The class had a Shaw-Fujikawa Translight Engine.[2]

In 2495, the Loaded for Bear was robbed of several paintings by the Eridanus Twelve when it entered the Eridanus system.[2]
In 2525, the Laden would be used to supply Eridanus Secundus. It was infiltrated as part of Operation: TALON.[1][3]
