Sangheili harness

The Denzhau-pattern intrusion harness is a design pattern of intrusion harness employed by the Sangheili serving under the Covenant and its splinter factions.[1]

Overview[edit]

Design details[edit]

The Denzhau-pattern intrusion harness has organic, irregular crimson-colored armor plating that is native to Hesduros zealotry, resembling insectoid carapace, worn over a scale-like undersuit. The undersuit covers the wearer's arms, with protective armor over the knuckles. Similar to the Liagrul-pattern intrusion harness, the helmet is fully shrouded with a distinct Y-shaped slit on its faceplate; however, the Denzhau-pattern intrusion harness' slit are exposed. There are four teardrop-shaped lights arranged in a cross pattern at the crown. The back of the armor extends into a prominent pair of raised foil-arcs. The thigh armor plates end in sharp points below the knee, while the hoof armors have traditional tow-claws commonly used by Hesduros Kaidons.[2]

Usage[edit]

A Zealot and Jul 'Mdama clad in the Denzhau-pattern intrusion harness.

The Denzhau-pattern intrusion harness was worn by Hesduros Sangheili Zealots in the Covenant and Jul 'Mdama's Covenant.[3][4] Jul 'Mdama himself wore a navy-colored variant of the Denzhau-pattern intrusion harness, with a holographic symbol that hovers over the forehead of his helmet; it featured multiple painted white handprints with Didact's unbound symbols on the palm, indicating his status as "the Didact's Hand."
