Dazzler
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
A dazzler was a Forerunner-designed camouflage technique that caused visual and auditory delusion.[1][2]
History[edit]
Lifeworker Central on Installation 07 had several dazzlers creating a protective dome covering fourteen hundred circular meters of jungle. This shielded a large group of UNSC survivors camped at Lifeworker Central from Banished detection.[3]
Trivia[edit]
The station of the Lifeworker Genemender Folder of Fortune on Installation 07 likely used some form of this technology in conjunction with sophisticated hard light holography, as the system was able to conceal both the Lifeworker's high-technological outpost from plain view as well as other features that mere holographic overlays could not have hidden, including the tall grass that had grown in the compound after it had fallen into disrepair.[4]
