The X-24 FAV is equipped with two machine guns for defense,[1] and armor plating capable of largely negating weapons fire from both bullets and plasma.[2]
Operational history[edit]
One of these APCs was utilized by SPARTAN-II Blue Team during the Battle of Alpha Corvi II.[2]

The X-24 FAV was not named in the initial Halo: Collateral Damage release, but was first identified in the comic's hardcover release.
