The Z-330 Independent Actuation Defense Escort/Heavy, alternatively known as Forerunner Escort, is a Forerunner vessel of unknown origin.[1]
Overview
The full functionality and purpose of these escort vessels (which are either controlled by individual Ancilla constructs or through some automated means) are currently unknown, but it appears that these vessels were previously used to ferry individuals and equipment through the vast interior of the Mantle's Approach, with limited mobility outside of this capacity. Escort vessels such as these were oftentimes circumvented by leaner, fully weaponized and armored combat suits such as War sphinxes.
