The Battle of Epsilon Clarion was a battle between the forces of the Keepers of the One Freedom allied with Dhas Bhasvod's Covenant loyalists, the Banished, and the UNSC on the Ark with the latter two attempting to keep the Keepers and Covenant forces from using Epsilon Clarion to activate the Halo Array. Although the UNSC and the Banished were not allied during the battle, they had the same goal and did not engage each other upon discovering the threat of the rings being fired.
