Unggoy Archdeacon is a role for Unggoy in the Covenant's Sacristan Order.[1]
Overview[edit]
Roles and responsibilities[edit]
Archdeacons are the Sacristan equivalent for deacons, the highest rank attainable by Unggoy in the standard Covenant military organization. After they have passed a trial of faith, Unggoy apostles are promoted to the role of archdeacon. Archdeacons are the few Unggoy who have served longest and survived against all odds, having proved themselves unwavering in faith and adherent to their duties.[1]
Equipment[edit]
Unggoy archdeacons employ black and gold variants of the combat harness, with decorative masks and methane tanks, the latter of which has its intricate inner machineries exposed. Like all other Unggoy members of the Sacristan Order, archdeacons wear purple loincloth and wrappings on their arms. In combat, archdeacons use a variety of weapons, including Eos'Mak-pattern plasma pistols, Posu'gelka-pattern needlers, and Korva-pattern fuel rod guns.[2]
