Halo: Escalation Issue 23 will be released on October 28, 2015 and is to be the twenty-third comic in the Halo: Escalation series.[1]

Plot summary
On September 18, 2558 at 0317 MST, Dr. Catherine Halsey is about to ente into the Absolute Record while four Type-44 Phantoms protecting the entrance. About to enter the structure, she is recieved an holographic projection of the Librarian, who tells her that the answers she seeks are inside the chamber and it also constains everything Halsey needs "to begin their work". In another area of the Absolute Record, Spartans Sarah Palmer and Holly Tanaka are fighting against several Ibie'shan Kig-Yar. During the fight, they are ambushed by a Type-56 Lich, and the Spartans and Dr. Glassman take cover but two Sangheili Zealots find them. An Aggressor Sentinel kill both Zealots and the Contender AI contacts them through the Snetinel, advising them to follow him to a secure location.[2]
